Under the Guidance of Owner and Head Coach; Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Second-Degree Black Belt, Professor Richard Weatherall, we offer classes to suit everyone; from novices wanting to improve their fitness whilst learning a new skill to those who have already fallen in love with the Art.
Meet The Instructors
From our “Tiny Champions” programme for children age 4 and up, all the way through to our Advanced “GB2” programme which sharpens the technique and abilities of experienced players up to Black Belt level and beyond, all our students benefit from the values of Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu and our other related martial art programmes.
Tiny Champions
At Gracie Barra Street we offer a specific programme in Brazilian jiu-jitsu aimed at children aged 4-6 years.
Kids & Teens
Our kids classes are built around the foundations of cooperation, discipline and respect.
Adults
The effectiveness of the Gracie Barra programmes has led to Gracie Barra becoming the largest and most successful Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team in the world.
Muay Thai
Muay Thai training is also an excellent workout which improves mobility, flexibility and general fitness in a friendly and united environment.
MMA
Our MMA classes combine our Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing and Muay Thai expertise to provide a well-rounded course.
All our instructors are trained to the highest standards through the Gracie Barra Certification Programme and are all highly qualified in their area of expertise. They continually seek to further their own personal development by keeping their training and qualifications regularly updated to ensure that you receive the very best coaching at our academy.
